Two significant highlights of our road trip were
sunset at Lake Tyrell, outside Sea Lake...
Salt, not sand or snow! |
I can tick that off my bucket list!
The other highlight, and also on my bucket list was
The Stick Shed in the small town of Murtoa!
Built in 1944 to house the excess wheat harvested in the area
that could not be exported due to the war, this building is rightly
Heritage listed and an incredible sight!

Finally, some other 'art' caught my eye on my travels....
At Rochest |
Boort |
Sea Lake |
Dimboola |
Kaniva |
A fantastic art show in its own right!
And the only thing we had to pay for, apart from the usual
holiday costs were The Stick Shed!
The creativity and ingenuity of country folk deserve to be
celebrated!
